Current Opportunities
Archaeological Inventory Survey (AIS)
Location: Mākaha Ahupuaʻa, Waiʻanae, Oʻahu
Proposal Due: July 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM HST
MAʻO Organic Farms is seeking qualified archaeological and cultural resource management firms to conduct an Archaeological Inventory Survey for approximately 250 acres within Mākaha Ahupuaʻa. The project will identify and assess historic properties, cultural sites, and ancestral places while supporting long-term stewardship planning.
Flora & Fauna Inventory Study
Location: Mākaha Ahupuaʻa, Waiʻanae, Oʻahu
Proposal Due: July 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM HST
MAʻO Organic Farms is seeking qualified environmental consulting firms, ecologists, or research institutions to conduct a comprehensive ecological baseline assessment of flora, fauna, and biodiversity across approximately 250 acres within Mākaha Ahupuaʻa.
Soil Monitoring Plan
Location: Mākaha Ahupuaʻa, Waiʻanae, Oʻahu
Proposal Due: July 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM HST
MAʻO Organic Farms is seeking qualified environmental engineering, agronomic, or consulting firms to develop a comprehensive soil monitoring and stewardship plan that integrates scientific soil assessment with traditional Hawaiian environmental observation and land management practices.
Stream & Water Quality Monitoring System, Stream Restoration and Flood Control Plan
Location: Mākaha Ahupuaʻa, Waiʻanae, Oʻahu
Proposal Due: July 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM HST
MAʻO Organic Farms is seeking qualified engineering, hydrology, and environmental consulting firms to design a stream-monitoring system and restoration strategy for Mākaha Stream and West Mākaha Stream to support flood mitigation, ecosystem restoration, and community stewardship.
