The nonprofit mission of WCRC Kauhale is to implement edu-preneurial projects that grow empowered youth leadership for a just, healthy, sustainable and resilient community.
MA‘O Organic Farms offers a variety of communal and education programs for our community, from keiki to kupuna, with visits primarily based in the Wai‘anae moku on-site at the farm or at partner sites. All of our mahiʻai (farming & agricultural) programs relate to our mission of ʻāina-based community development through growing good, organic food and youth leadership.
Kauhale Youth Education & Entrepreneurship Initiative is a partnership with Searider Productions and Mākaha Studios to create an ʻauwai of edu-preneurial programs, from high school to post-secondary to workforce in the fields of digital and creative media. Utilizing 21st century storytelling knowledge, skills and expertise as a platform- youth leaders in the Kauhale program are innovating the sector as practitioners.
While our youth programs primarily follow a regular, academic schedule-based calendar, our adult and community outreach programs vary year to year. Please check back regularly as our schedule changes, or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
